Notes:
- This UK album was likely released in 1959 or early 1960. It features the soundtrack of the film version of “Li’l Abner” (Paramount Pictures). The original US version with pretty much the same artwork, was released on Columbia OL 5460 (mono) and OL 2021 (stereo), both in 1959.
- The film starred Peter Palmer, Leslie Parrish, Howard St. John, Julie Newmar and Stella Stevens, among others. Julie Newmar is in the middle of the front cover picture, stretching her arms into the sky, and she’s also on the cover of an LP I happen to own: Hollywood LPH 30 (a compilation album titled “Rhythm and Blues in the Night”).
