Notes:
- The recordings on this album were made in 1954 and sound surprisingly well – since this album was released in 1968 (though it’s a reissue), I thought the recordings were made just prior to the release date, 1967-68. Not so.
- The quartet featured, with Gerry Mulligan, Bob Brookmeyer, Red Mitchell and Frank Isola, bring a selection of smooth jazz tunes – not too dangerous, but very enjoyable.
