- This is a very early Philips 10 inch album, released in 1951. It has the speed designation unboxed and the labels are red with golden lettering. The cover is an example of one of the custom album designs Philips used before introducing cover art, specific for a release. This is most likely the very first custom cover used by Philips.
- This is a gatefold release and the scans show the front cover, the left and right inside panels, the (empty) back cover, the labels as they show (unedited) and the labels after they’ve been worked on to make it all a bit more readable.
- The earliest mention of this release on Delpher is from Feb. 16, 1952 (“Vrije Geluiden”); click here to see it.
- Philips re-released this title several times, with different cover art and as part of the favourites-series (with a new number: S 06028 R).
