- This is an early example of the collaboration between Philips and Columbia. Columbia released this album in 1951 with number ML 2203 in their Masterworks series with a completely different cover – see this page.
- Shown are the original Philips issue from 1953 and a reissue from c. 1956-57. The reissue has a laminated front cover and a tip-on cover construction, where the first pressing was housed in a simple ‘envelope’, made out of one piece with front cover flaps folded around the top and bottom edges to be glued in place on the back cover. The labels of both versions appear to be exactly the same.
