The last 7 days or so I’ve been working on new purchases for the Philips Minigroove website: 16 singles/EP’s, 16 ten inch records and 23 LP’s. All vinyl has been cleaned, many covers were cleaned and/or repaired. Finally, yesterday and today, I entered all information on the correct webpages. What remains is scanning all items and that’ll take much more time. I still have a couple of hundred items to scan…
One of the nicest finds probably was the album pictured below. A classical album with a Paul Huf cover featuring Ann Pickford, from the famous “SL Series”, but released in the UK only (with number SBL 5226), despite the Import No. given on the back cover (S 04644 L). It’s not shown (not even mentioned) in the Paul Huf book “Record Covers”.
